We have some exciting updates to share this month regarding the Onomondo SoftSIM and platform. Read on to learn how these updates can enhance your IoT projects with new levels of efficiency and control.

### Nordic SoftSIM Improvements

**What’s New:** We’ve made substantial improvements to the Nordic nRF91-Series SoftSIM, significantly reducing flash memory usage. This update is a game-changer for devices requiring OTA firmware updates alongside SoftSIM, addressing previous memory constraints.

**How It Works:**

- **TF-M Application Memory Reduction:** From 256kB to 64kB (75% decrease)
- **TF-M Storage Memory Reduction:** From 64kB to 32kB (50% decrease)

**What To Do:** Explore the updated partitioning scheme on [GitHub](https://github.com/onomondo/nrf-softsim) to implement these improvements on your devices.

### Quectel EG-21-GL Firmware Release

**What’s New:** Quectel EG-21-GL modems now officially support SoftSIM integration as part of the firmware, simplifying deployment and use of SoftSIM technology.

**What To Do:** For detailed information and to take advantage of this SoftSIM integration, check out our [integration guide for the EG-21-GL.](https://help.onomondo.com/en/articles/209638-how-to-integrate-the-onomondo-softsim-with-the-eg21-gl-from-quectel)

### API Changes: Network Whitelist API

**What’s New:** An update to our API now requires specifying both the Mobile Country Code (MCC) and the Mobile Network Code (MNC) for network whitelist API calls. This change aims to enhance network connection control and avoid unexpected costs.

**What To Do:** Adjust your API call configurations to include both MCC and MNC where required. Refer to our [updated API documentation](https://docs.onomondo.com/readme/network-whitelists#get-network-whitelists) for guidance. This update is effective March 27th, 2024.

### Webhooks IP Address Update

**What’s New:** To improve our service delivery, we’re introducing a new IP address for Webhooks: **52.58.186.11/32**.

**What To Do:** Update your firewall settings to include this new IP address alongside the current ones, ensuring continuous reception of Webhooks without interruption. More documentation can be [found here.](https://docs.onomondo.com/)
