Insyght Onomondo partner

Insyght

Insyght is a full-stack IoT product studio that takes connected products from first concept to certified hardware in mass production — one partner for electronics, firmware, industrial design, apps, cloud, certification, and manufacturing.

About

Based at YES!Delft, one of Europe’s top-ranked tech incubators, Insyght was built around a single conviction: any company should be able to ship a connected product without building an in-house hardware team. Too many good ideas stall somewhere between prototype and production — lost to integration complexity, certification uncertainty, or the challenge of managing multiple specialist suppliers at once.

The studio operates across three locations: engineering in Delft, cloud and software in São Paulo, and manufacturing with an in-house QC engineer on the factory floor in Shenzhen. Where most studios hand over a design and step back, Insyght stays through first article inspection, production test, and shipment — so the product that leaves the line is the product that was designed.

Highlights include over 100,000 units shipped of a single LPWAN asset tracking device, an in-shoe football wearable (JOGO) acquired by 433, and an iF Design Award reflecting industrial design capability that is part of the engineering process, not added at the end.

Key Products

Core capabilities span PCB and RF hardware design (Nordic nRF52 / nRF5340 / nRF9160, ESP32), embedded firmware across BLE, LoRaWAN, LTE-M, and NB-IoT, industrial design, mobile apps (Flutter), cloud platforms, and managed certification (CE, RED, FCC, UKCA, EN 18031 cybersecurity). In-house production test tooling and on-site QC in Shenzhen complete the chain. Clients engage Insyght for the full build or for a single missing piece.

MedeMeter

A solar-powered street sensor measuring air quality and noise at street level — no Wi-Fi, no power socket, no subscription. LTE-M connectivity is built in with ten years of data included. Edge AI on the device identifies noise sources (aircraft, road traffic, rail, construction, wind turbines), while a psychoacoustic model developed with TU Delft measures perceived noise rather than raw decibels. Audio is never recorded.

Concept to Certified Product

A single engagement from rough brief to certified hardware on a production line — covering architecture, PCB layout, RF design, firmware, enclosure, app, cloud backend, full certification file, and factory transfer with on-site QC in Shenzhen. It addresses the problem most hardware teams hit at the same point: the prototype works, and no one knows how to turn it into ten thousand certified units. One team, one timeline, one point of accountability.

Industries served

Scale-ups and established OEMs that need to ship a connected product but have no in-house hardware team — as well as companies whose existing team is at capacity. Typical contacts are CTOs, R&D managers, and lead engineers. Sectors include asset tracking and logistics, sports and wearables, industrial equipment, environmental monitoring, and energy.

Why Insyght

Most IoT partners cover one layer. Insyght runs the whole chain from a single contract and stays in it through production. Certification is handled as a managed service from the first schematic — not a last-minute process. Production test tooling is built in-house so factory yield is measured, not assumed. And with an engineer on the factory floor in Shenzhen, the product that leaves the line is the product that was designed.

The result is projects that reach certified production instead of stalling at prototype.
