Release Notes August 2023: New Visibility in SIMs Overview and Connectors

This month, we’ve added new filtering options to the SIMs Overview page, making it easier to identify your most active SIMs. We’ve also updated Connectors to include more information about your device.

New usage data is available in SIMs Overview

We’ve heard increasingly from customers that the old SIMs Overview page didn’t provide enough information for a quick glance at SIM activity. That’s why we’ve launched a new SIMs Overview page with a new column that shows the MB usage MTD (month to date) per SIM and also allows for sorting.

With this update, users can easily identify their most active SIMs and take action to optimize their network lists and take a deeper dive into SIM activity. We hope this change makes it easier for your team to manage devices and identify potential issues faster.

To use this new feature, simply navigate to the SIMs overview page and look for the “MTD Usage” column. This feature is available to all users. We are continuing to explore ways to enhance this table with more valuable information, so please reach out to support@onomondo.com with any suggestions.

New state-updates are available with Connectors

We’re excited to announce that our latest update to Connectors includes even more information about your devices! Now, the Azure DPS Connector, and AWS IoT Core Connector all include Label, IMEI, and ICCID as part of their state-updates.

This means that you’ll be able to get even more detailed information about your devices’ statuses. This update is available for users in Sandbox Testing and Enterprise plans. Try it out and see how it can improve your device management!

If you’re not familiar with Connectors already, it’s Onomondo’s network software that enables easy data transmission while heavily reducing data consumption. Check out how to set up Connectors in our help article here.

Wrapping up

We are committed to continuously introducing value-providing features that help streamline IoT operations, and we look forward to launching more valuable updates in the future.
