NB-IoT stands for Narrowband Internet of Things. It is a low power wide area technology developed specifically for IoT connectivity.

eDRX power savings
Extended Discontinuous Reception (eDRX) is a LPWA network feature that lets devices connect only when they need to. Outcome is power savings and longer lasting battery.

Power Saving Mode (PSM) is a feature provided in some LPWA networks. It puts devices to sleep between transmissions, which reduces battery usage.
